Helicopter or Plane to the Island

Flights over the Quirimbas Archipelago to Azura Quilalea are truly spectacular. You will have brilliant views of all the islands and the Quirimba’s National Park. Expect to spot whales in season (July to September). Helicopters land on Quilalea Island, and light aircraft land at Quirimba Island, followed by a boat transfer to Quilalea.

Boat transfers that combine a stopover at Ibo Island are easily arranged. This area is a 45-minute transfer through the mangrove channels and an innovative way to move between the two properties.

Located 30 nautical miles north of Pemba, Azura Quilalea is one of the southernmost islands in the Archipelago.
